Worst excuses from a lad?

This is one of the worst excuses I've had from a lad, I know it's not good to educate them, but I let so many things slide I just had to query his date of birth. His passport said 1957 and his father (ex-Liberian leader) was born in 1948, making him a very young father with no records of this son existing.

He obviously didn't really check his fake benin passport, with benin nationality, because he said I made up the 1957 and he was actually born in 1970.

But he has a good excuse for this and I for one definitely believe him and will continue the transaction ^^

I once had a lad who sent a passport claiming she was born 2 years after she told me her parents died. Laughing

I didn't want to educate him about the error, but I spent the whole rest of the bait asking if she was a ghost, asking after her ectoplasm, trying to get her to talk about her haunts, etc. It was fun for me, and confusing as hell for the lad. Razz

I think YOU should start to call him "Small boy". We know how they love that title.

ScammedOut: You beat me to it! Lads just love to be called 'small boi'. Melancholy, since you and your lad are so close now you should be calling him by his childhood name. Laughing

Lads make a lot of excuses. The most frequent excuses I seem to get: they were sick and in the hospital, someone died, or network problems. Lads lie. That's what they do for a living!

Who would call a 53 year old man a small boy? Maybe if he looks physically small but is secretly born in 1957. Perhaps he's been embezzling some of your big money into youth potions? I think you better grill him on this, before long your money will be gone and your lad will be an infant. This is serious business!

The Lad who eventually gave me my Thor-slaying-Jurmungadr trophy pix only did that when he piked out on doing a previous task:
