Hello,
Everyone go google something about "ASK SUNDAY SCAM" or ASK
SUNDAY LLC" and you will find several reports about a scam. This scam
targets people who are job hunting on Career
builder or Monster. The Scammer usually goes by the name of Thomas
Moore or another similar name.
There is a real company by the name of Ask Sunday, but the person who
is contacting me is impersonating them.
Go to this link and read about it:
http://guido.appenzeller.net/wordpress/2009/12/asksundayask-sundaymakesunday-scam/
Also please note that Ask Sunday's real website is:
www.asksunday.com
The fake website being used by the impersonator is:
www.asksundayLLC.com
The real Ask Sunday is aware of the scam and if you call them they
will tell you that there is a scam floating around.
Yes the phone number which I have listed below is a New York number
but it is believed that the
person doing the scam could have originated in the Philippines since he
has an accent from that area.
I have been
forwarding him hundreds of junk mail messages to deter him from finding
real victim's messages. He likely is not filtering email from me yet
since I was originally baiting him but then decided to just finish the bait
off by sending him junk mail.
I also want you to know that this scam is being investigated by the FBI,
so it will only be a matter of time before he gets put in jail.
But in the meantime, mess with this dummy as much as you can.
His email address is: [email protected]
Also his phone number is: 1-646-257-5840
You can also leave him some fun voice mail messages
Go my fellow friends, mess with him in any way you can...thank you
Have fun |

Hi scammersarethemugu, thanks for posting that.
I removed the phone number and email address until you can provide some evidence that they are being used in a scam. I did Google around a bit as you suggested, and had hits for scam warnings, but I also had a few that suggest a legitimate company is being impersonated for a scam.
In any case, we ask that our members provide evidence, usually in the form of emails with headers, that connect names, phone numbers, email addresses, etc with a specific scam. FYI, according to Whitepages.com, the number you posted is a New York land line.
Assuming this is a scam, and you have the right email address, bombarding them with spam probably won't do very much. Most providers have junk filters and deleting the ones that get past won't take much time at all. Have you tried baiting them? |
