I got one of these emails and I felt like being stupid. Here goes:

Elephant trainer in a hotel? Well I thought I'd had in my CV and a cover letter. Here is the cover letter. The CV is pretty much same as this

I have nine years of experience with elephants. My career commenced in the British Zoo were I also obtained the education of Diploma in Elephant Training and Animal Behaviour. I moved on to work for Walt Disney Europe Amusement parks in November 2007 training elephants to entertain the public.

Presented to me by the mayor of London; In 2007 I received the Key to London Zoo Award due to my outstanding accomplishment in taking care or the Zoo’s elephant population during the great elephant plague that effected many elephants in Zoo’s across Europe. I am glad to say none of the elephants in my care died and all came out of the incident in good health.

Very funny!

I think you'll need a lot of information about the types and temperaments of the elephants you will be expected to train.

Eventually (after many backs-and-forths with him), you might also ask for the email contact of the former elephant trainer, so you can correspond with him directly about the elephant's needs.

My very favorite lad time-wasting technique is to get them to create a new email identity just for your sake. Wink
