I've got the news ticker plugin for firefox and had to laugh when this heading skipped across my screen a few moments ago.

Sound Familiar?

They could teach lads a thing or two.

If only it were possible to bait actual banks, especially when they use similar techniques to the lads. Wink

maybe it is possible,

I am really pissed off with fees, I hardly use my overdraft but If I do its always like 2p or 10p or something and HBOS who I bank with charge me £1 per day for being 1p overdrawn, ok if I was overdrawn £200 it is only £1 a day but I NEVER use my overdraft... why punish the customers who actually watch there bank balance...

I bank with a credit union and they have a regular habit of charging me a huge fee for having too many transactions each month Shocked. I prefer paying by EFTPOS for most of my transactions instead of paying by cash, especially since I was mugged several years ago.

With credit cards, you're charged interest if you don't pay the entire balance, and you're charged a fee if you do pay the entire balance. Of course, credit card companies don't like customers who pay the entire balance, because they make their money on the interest. So this is their way of getting something from all their customers.

So far, because I have my paychecks automatically deposited, my bank does not charge me any fees unless I am overdrawn. Since I watch my balance very carefully, I haven't been overdrawn in a long time. And since I bank with an institution that has ATM machines almost everywhere, I don't have to pay for ATM transactions either.

I like my bank. Very Happy
