Lad will be sending fake/stolen checks to the victim who will either be told to cash them and wire the funds to the lad. Another possibility is that the vic will purchase clothes or jewellery on behalf of the lad using the checks. As a bonus the victim will also be directed to accept (unknowingly) the delivery of goods purchased with stolen credit cards, likely high-end electronics, phones, cameras, etc. Vic will then forward said goods to the lad or his accomplices.
