I'm having some difficulty printing something that I need.

It's a manul for an old pistol that I need a hard copy of. (the manual)

I can click on each page, but when I try to print it's giving me 1 page, then 9 pages of mini pages of the rest.

Any suggestions? I really need to print all the pages. Thanks!

I can help.
The pages are text placed over the image of a page. I've got a couple of hours free (it shouldn't take that long), so I can copy it all into one file.

Hopefully the formatting will transfer too, if not you'll need to fix that on your comp before printing.

Oh that would be AWESOME! I've got to print it up for a collection piece that needs the manual. It's the first time I've seen one (manual) this old, and on the web.

Looks like they are all .jpg's. Can you do a "save as", then print each pic.

You can't just save as. The background and pics are .jpgs, but the writing has been converted to type, so you'd just get blank pages.

I've got section 1 done. It's taking much longer than I thought as the formatting isn't coming across and it keeps misplacing random lines of text, so I have to proof as I go.

I'll post what I've done so far and you can have a look at that. I'll do the rest over the next few days, but right now, I need some sleep.

Thanks! I'll have to do a little doctoring, as the 1st document has better pictures.

Later in the manual are instructions for firing whilst riding a horse Shocked

(pg 68 ) and the 1st manual pictures are much clearer.

I think I can make it work. Thanks for help everyone!

Just a couple suggestions:

You could print the entire manual from the PDF file, and then print the pages that you want from the online manual and just swap them.

If you have PDF editing software, you can download the pictures you want from the online manual and actually replace the pictures that are in the PDF.

I also noticed that this document has been updated atleast in 1971 and around 1990, although the 1940 edition looks to have more usable information and details in it. I sure didn't see horseback shooting in the later revisions.

Could you not pay a lad to write out the document by hand? complete with hand drawn colour pictures? it would save you loads of time and effort, not to mention the money you guaranteed the lad for doing it.
