I have been noticing a rise in scam email requesting quotes for foreign students to come to my business for martial arts training while they are in the US.

Quote:
We are in United states of America on two months vacation.we are six in numbers and we want to come to your place on one month marshal art training, please let me know how much it will cost six people in just four hours daily.

This is the typical type I have been seeing...

Spread the word.....

Fake cheque/overpayment scam? How do they do the fake cheque if they're just visiting on vacation for 2 months, certianly not enough time to set up a bank account!

Maybe just reply that they should send a deposit by Western Union, see how quickly they scarper Wink

I'd offer them a ridiculously high priced "deal" and see if they're still interested. Then send them to Western Union, of course if they do turn up you would have to provide the services they've paid for. Accept no cheques or other none cash forms of payment.

That's assuming you can handle yourself if there's any bother? Laughing
