Bot scripts out of China

If it's possible to say, more troubling to me than lads/vlads (as we know them), are the millions of bot scripts coming out of China. I've received a huge increase in the past 3 months or so, even with stringent filters in place.

No matter the amount of googelable articles and warnings out there, as we know, it's a numbers game, and a certain percentage will fall prey. You can't bait a bot, and you can't waste it's time. With the current backdop in that arena getting worse by the week, you can give me a lad any day.

I really like the warners on McAfee Site Advisor who post without fail, about bots sites and deal more with why and how the Registrar is complicit. You have to cut off the head to kill the snake, but you have to get ahold of it first, so there doesn't seem to be any end in site.
