Apologies to the telepathically challenged among you I was hoping someone would say 'yes that was me'. I was going to ignore it but I was still curious.
The mail looked like it came from a non-existing financial institution.
It warned me about not sending money to a scammer.
It directed me to the m00sechuckle web site.
I was in the To field, together with a bunch of others.
I was curious because it has mixed signals. Like it could be a baiter who thinks I'm a victim, but then why the financial service, or a lad who thinks I'm a payer, but it doesn't ask me to contact anyone or promise any reward. In either scenario its weird to ask me to visit the modeling agency site, as it is a baiting tool.

Mystery solved.
"Betrüger & Gauner" = "cheaters and criminals".
They are from the German scambaiter-info forum (which is a good one). i had asked them for help almost 1 year ago and have forgotten that obviously, someone there is still ASEMming the MM format. As far as I knew, I did 99,9% of all ASEMs myself - seems you received one. Just reply "Thank you, I am a baiter" - don´t fill out the form |
