Hey there guys, you obviously don't know me yet, but I thought I'd share some of my initial experiences of a noob baiter, as a sort of introduction.

I found this site after finding a few of the classic baits and looking for more, such as one guy getting his "lad" to hand-write a harry potter book. Laughing

I've been starting out writing some "straight-baits" from emails I recieve in my 419 collection email, that I don't use. I've read a bunch of stickies and tutorials and stuff around here and it's helped me out. I've been baiting safe with my character R. Kelly and his gmail adress and I've registered a K9 answering machine.

Something I descovered that I haven't seen anywhere else in this forum: The first Skype telephone call on an account is free, so if your lad absolutely insists that you call him, and is tired of getting your voicemail, you can call him using a new Skype account (which will come up as a Private Number) for him and then dump the account. I used this to set the voicemail message on my K9 without having to pay any money.

One of my baits (some "Chinese" businessman whose IP says Germany, even though I'm not too sure about that either) is requesting a passport scan, so I'm about to send him a 9.5mb song (his hotmail can only recieve up to 10mb Sad

) renamed to passport.bmp. I'm sure he wont mind though, it's an NWA classic Razz

Hopefully he's in Nigeria/Ghana/Burkina/etc. and not Germany so that instead of fast Euro internet, he will get slow W.A. net cafe.

I have not looked for a mentor yet, and I might wait a bit before I do. At the moment I'm just doing a few straight-baits.
