His name is Gxxx Rxxx. He has a long list of folders with women he contacted or used, in his laptop. I know this because I spent almost a year with him. He uses Skype name gillxx, gillxx, gillx... God knows how many others. Also, he is on ICQ with at least two nicks (that's how many I discovered so far) - Byron, UIN: 96xx and Gilles, UIN: 19xx. He is also [email protected]. There is more probably, but I haven't found all yet. But I had a chance to meet the woman under skype nick beograd88, her name is Marija. She was his "victim" too. When she refused his lies, he made an ugly and untrue profile of her on AntiScam club website. they publish anything without any proof! It's enough to become a member and post whatever you want,nobody asks for a real proof. Another woman got in touch with me after I placed his photo and invitation for everybody who knew him to contact me. She lived with him for 3,5 years until she was lef without any money. And when she tried to get rid of him, Gilles published a very ugly RipOff report about her!
Can anybody help me to reveal his true face in public? HE is trying to escape and hidind, because I initiated police investigation on him - he is mad as I also do not wish to be a scam victim anymore and won't let him use me. After his threats, the police agreed to investigate him, but he probably found another lonely woman who couldn't resist his lies and is hiding him!
Please, all the help or information would mean a great deal tome! Thank you all, at least for reading this. Maybe it will help somebody else not to get into his hands!

Hello and welcome Searchingformonster to me it seems you found one. Confused

The people with the real experience though are on our sister site http://www.scamwarners.com/ and will be able to help you better with all the questions you might have now and in the future, they know who to contact and what to do to prevent further damage as he has your personal info.
Added advantage, you'll be helping to spread the word about this one and warn possible victims that start a Google to find out if.... That site is open for all search engines and although I was skeptical if it would work that way, hundreds of letters convinced me by now.

Please give http://www.scamwarners.com/ a try, they will help you through it the best they can.

Then if you feel like getting even, some revenge this is the site where we can teach you how... without running personal risks.

Tough times for you, but it's up to you to get it straightened out and scamwarners can help.

Most important thing now, secure what you got and digest the story, that's the tough part, you actually lived with him, I was just scammed out of some money and I had a hard time digesting it.

Thanks... I took your advice and joined them about 5 minutes ago. You are right, diggesting is the difficult part, and that is the reason why I started searching for more info. He even tried hacking me several times, but fortunatelly all that I had about him is safe. I had a habbit from work to keep things on discs and USB's.
I'll remember your offer about teaching me how to get even, soon I think. I just need a few more days to cool my head a bit.

Forgive my confusion. You titled this thread "Is he a scammer or not? Please help...", but you also state you spent a year with this person. Did he steal money from you?

This may seem like a catch 22 in this context, but we have a policy against allowing members to post people's names and contact information without some evidence to support claims that they are criminals.

Edit: I x'd out the names etc from your first post. I'll be happy to restore them if we can establish he is a scammer. You may PM the information to anyone who is willing to help you do research.

I have evidence, and also started the police investigation about him. He knows how to make you "blind" for a long time. I was lucky - he claimed to be in a project with some important people in my country. A friend of mine took me to meet the person in charge of such projects and when I asked about it, I ws told it never existed. The person whose name Imentioned, Gxxxxx Rxxxxx, simply run away when I told him so. and after a couple of hours tried hacking my home and office computers. Isn't it enough?
Then I started to look for people who knew him. What I posted here is a part of what I discovered. But my computer skills are limited, I am just an accountant and that is why I am looking for some help... every possible help I can get to get ridof him completely and if possible to get even for shame and pain he caused me. I don't care about the money I lost and wasted on him... It's a punishment that leave to myself for being stupid and wulnerable...

We generally ask for an email (including headers) where requests for money are made, or obvious scam methods are being used. Chat logs can work also.

I realize your situation may be a little outside of what we usually come across, but perhaps you have something that can help us understand this a little better.

In fact I was hacked this morning again! I'm sure it was him again - ten minutes later I got the phone call with the request to pay him 7000 EUR in two western union transfers if I don't want ugly stuff written about me. And that payment instructions will arrive by mail. Here it is - I see this e mail for the first time, but the voice on the phone was his. Only this name and address in Nigeria are confusing - all previous calls and mails were coming from France, Ukraine and Russia.

I doubt... it wouldn't be the first time to invent things...he told me once that he can hide and change his IP using something called Tor.. I have no idea if it is tru or not, but this for sure makes me worry a bit, even if I know that I am physically protected. With all that I have heard of him so far, I do not feel safe...

^^Tor is a proxy. It can be used to hide true IPs. Nigeria may be correct, I'm guessing Tor doesn't usually go through Nigerian IPs, but I could be wrong.

While I was working, all froze and the image appeared on the screen showing strange things about processor overload, and the programs runnig, but I didn't start them. I unplugged all as I didn't know what else to do. I asked a friend what he thought of it, he said I was hacked! It's not the first time, happened already many times since I refused to do what he wanted me to do. And he said he would do so and that he can do it.

About the hacking, no idea what system you run, in XP or Vista restore to a date way before he left, he wouldn't have left the laptop open while he was working on it.
Check windows firewall make sure it's on and there are no "strange" exceptions, best is to restore that to default
Download AVG and Kaperski free versions - install and run(while not online), other members will drop their opinion I hope.

@Searchingformonster: If he has done that, he was probably able to get you to click on a link, or open a file that contains code that gave him access to your computer. You can probably lock him out by installing good firewall, anti-virus, and anti-spyware software. There are free versions of all of the above. For firewall, you can try ZoneAlarm. For virus protection, AVG seems good, and Spybot Search and Destroy is good for spyware. Click on the links to get to the free download pages, or hunt around for ones you like better.

It's not clear to me that he has hacked you, but there's no harm in locking the barn doors.
