Yesterday I opened my email and there were 2 emails from Amazon saying that as soon as the 2 $50 gift certificated I purchased were proccessed they would be emailed to me. That seemed good except that I hadn't purchased any. I emailed Amazon and asked for them to be cancelled and later I received an email telling me that this was done and sorry for the inconvienence of somebody using my account. Good service!!
I then thought I should change my password etc and check other details.
In my address book there was somebody elses address. Mad

I copied that and sent Amazon another email to which they replied that they have sent it further and will check into it. It is a legitimate address with the same first name just different surname. Shocked

I am just posting this to let others know to regulary check on-line accounts. I'm just glad it was in my normal account, not hotmail or others that I only check every few weeks.
