My lad "bank" just wrote me a highly official message confirming receipt of my application. It was so professional I couldn't believe it:

email background was this image reflecting professional and dependable banking services:

made official by this flag gently waving in the internet breeze:

and featuring no fewer than 10 different text colors, 5 different fonts in bold/italic/ALL CAPS. I am ready to hang myself even before the DUE VERIFICATION takes place - not sure I will be able to deal with this bank (except to be impressed by their obvious professionalism). My only consolation is that there's no flashing text....
