Well, I got lots of goat pictures in July, plus a few other things :

Yes, snow in July, but only 4 inches.
Just beware attack chickens!
Lake Palupologna looked nice, (even if I have spelt it wrong)

I went back later in the week and got some shots in the sun, I've seen Autumn pictures of it, well worth the walk to get there.
I also recommend the Wild Park at Arth Goldau, lots of goats and deer you can hand feed, the animals are very tame and aren't that pushy.

and bears, but you don't get to feed your hands to them.

The first hotel I stayed at charged extra for rooms with a lake view, they didn't mention that the railway line was just below it, but the lake views were good. I just hope no one noticed me getting rid of a jar of sodium I took with me.

At night, on the other side of the lake we could see a fun fair

Day light, and a trip to Bregenz in Austria produced this:

Especially for the steam buffs (me included)

Cool photos. How did you launch the sodium? I did some plum sized chunks and only got them to disrupt into smaller chunks that scooted on the water with some sprouting into flames at the end.

Its only an illuminated fountain really, (I was just kidding about the sodium) taken from about 500 yards away at about 10pm ish.
Trying out the new camera and seeing what it could do.
So there I was, on Litzirueti station, ice-cream in hand when this lands next to me, it's body was about 3 inches long

Now what the h*ll is one of them?
This is how I picture the 419eater clan

(Really its a bit of rock in the middle of the Rhine Falls)
You get there by boat.

Still on the maritime theme, Lake Constance (Konstanz)

It rotates and no, she ain't got no underwear!.

And finally, this is in Appenzell, it portrays the Swiss sense of humour.
This is a normal run of the mill picnic table by the edge of the river, lovely place to stop and have a bite to eat.

Ichneumon fly. Its feeling for grubs in the wood. They do the Alien thing, feel the vibrations of a grub in the wood, drill down and deposit an egg inside the grub.
