Well, I couldn't think of any other thing to name it.

I'm just thinking I'm going to try a straight bait as simplistic as possible. The next format I can grab from my catcher account, I'm just going to move along as quickly as possible to the part where the scammer hits me up for money. After that, I'll say "I sent the money.". I'm not going to send any money (obviously), but I'm also not going to send any sort of fake WU receipt, or fake MTCN, or anything. I'm just going to insist that I sent the money, ad nauseum, until the scammer gives up.

Has anyone ever tried a bait like this?

If you are going to just 'I sent the money' and nothing else at all (no mistyping secret question or mtcn or delaying) I don't think this bait will live long. You'll be unmasked as a joker quite fast, unless you get the golden, really desperate lad. In that case it might take a week longer. I don't think you will get alot of satisfaction, siggy lines or whatever out of it, but feel free to try, I might always be wrong.

On some point you have to lie (you bad boy!) well off course you start on the point you will say "i send the money" but you lad will ask for the mtcn, what is your plan from there?

That's sorta what I figured. But this kind of thing takes so little effort to run, and there's certainly no lack of lads out there, that the downside is minimal.

I mean, if Shiver can twice tell a lad, point blank "YOU ARE A LYING SCAMMER, FUCK OFF" then proceed to get the lad tatooed, anything is possible.

Tried something similiar with a check lad. I kept saying I sent the money but never sent a mtcn # or deuzer form or even did WU.jpg. It lasted from April 15th when I said I had received the check to Jun 28th when the lad sent me this.

He wanted me to email the mtcn to another address so I decided to dolla chop. I created a similar email, name@gmail instead of his name@ymail and said I sent it there. I never did bother to send anything to or from that address. I actually did it to him 4 times with 4 characters, he ended up changing his email address and whined alot about hackers. In the end he was begging me to save his job and to send him anything I had.

I have since rebaited him 2 more times with another 4 characters but now he drops me after a few questions about WU.
