I've got a scammer who is saying he's in India... but talks and acts like a lad.. o.O I've checked his headers and they're all saying india, but I've never gotten a scammer from India.

idk, I guess I'm asking is that a common place for scammers to be from?

The headers are telling you that the scammer is in India. He may not be of Indian extraction though. If he's using a familiar West Africa 419 format with the same style of poor grammar and shoddy spelling then chances are he's an African lad in India. One easy way to tell would be to reply to his format using a spare baiting account and tell him that you're from Owerri state and have a maga in Bangalore and ask for his help.

There are known instances of Indian lads that have been baited and were kind enough to provide photo trophies. As the above link shows, there are also Nigerian lads in India. You could have either.
