I'm pretty new here, especially to the bank scam forum. I just got an email from Bank of America, and it says "click here." When I click, I'm taken to this site:

What can I do to try to get the site down? What's my next step?

What you have received is a phishing email with a phishing site. We do not deal with these on 419Eater. However, if you'd like to do something about the email/site you received you should send the email with full headers to the Bank of America. They have more information about phishing on their site: https://www.bankofamerica.com/privacy/Control.do?body=privacysecur_unauthorised_acc_use#email

So it's only a website that actually pretends to be a bank that we take down. I don't think I've gotten one of those so far in my email, but I can't wait until I do!

We only kill sites that are involved in Advance Fee Fraud. While phishing sites are also fraudulent, they're a different beast altogether.

Even if you don't receive sites via email you can still come by and find some to kill if they're marked "Report Needed" or marked "Needs DB" and no one in the thread has claimed it yet.
