Yes the beloved pitchman of such things as Oxyclean, Mighty Putty, and affordable healthcare has left us for brighter pastures. Now we are left with the likes of the Sham WOW guy.... Crying or Very sad

The guy had only one volume - loud - and only one attitude - total enthusiasm for whatever he was selling. And he kinda grew on me.

I have an idea about a Billy Mays Memorial Modality. Perhaps getting a lad to buy some of Billy's hawked products?Perhaps getting a lad to do a Billy Mays style commercial? Maybe nottobescammed would like to do a telephone bait involving tactics such as what Billy would use.

I looked at my tub of Oxyclean, hence where my ideas flow from.

I'd disagree on the purchasing of products, knowing that the money wouldn't be the lad's honestly earned money (makes me quake to say "honest" and "lad" in the same sentence).

I am a bit squeemish about having a criminal emulate a deceased person, it might give the lad an idea for a further scam.

I hear your attempt here though.

As seen on TV. I read that he died in his sleep with the probable cause being hypertension. The fat around the gut probably did not help with sleep apnea. I liked his style, but then again, I like watching the pitchmen at the county fairs with their microphones around their necks and the memorized spiel.

Billy Mays, may you rest in peace.

Thanks for everything Billy. Thanks for taking away the long nights with bad TV by educating my over tired brain on all the great products one would have never known about.

Thanks for giving us the courage to try to mend household items and vehicles with Mighty Putty. Keeping the laundry bright and claen without bleach. Removing stains from just about any type of cloth or carpet. I never did get around to trying the low cost health insurance. Did you ever pitch a juicer?

Not to be disrespectful of his memory or family...

Cocaine???? That explains alot! At first I was thinking high blood pressure or early life steroid abuse from his demeanor on the show "Pitchmen".
