not sure if this is the right forum to ask about this but I'll give it a shot based on responses I've received. If it needs to be moved please do.

I have a family member by marriage that I think is perpetuating a scam.
and it may be big time.
This guys history is less than stellar. My comments to family have been dismissed. I've called this guy out on other pathetic ventures he's been involved in like "Internet over the Power grid" and "Primerica".
But everyone thinks he knows what he's doing. "Cause he's so smart"

I'm really just tired of my wife to be bothered by it.

if I may be indulged please, the keywords to google are Zer 0 1 (all one word) and Ben Pii|ani.

pm me if you can't figure it out. I understand this forum is indexed by google.

back in march before the product was announced as cousin started telling me about it. the tech sounded good but I had some questions that couldn't be answered by anyone who knew about it.
I started searching for info. All i ran into were poorly designed websites, vague references and links to organizations that just don't make sense for this guy to be involved in. I mean, how can a guy who's supposedly the CEO of a large Multinational not even own a home. His wife and kid lived for almost 6 years with his folks and had to borrow money for diapers and food while he was globe trekking on various schemes.

I guess what I'm trying to ask is after searching the terms mentioned. What does this community think of the deal and what would you do if in my situation.

I tend to ramble and I apologize for it.

If you can prove he is running a scam, we can kill his websites and bait him.

sorry about the disjointedness. I work nights and i ramble when i talk or type.

I guess what I'm asking is if there's anyway to deal with a family member that my be perpetuating a scam.

From the link, it wouldn't appear that he's into advance fee fraud, which is what we deal with here. The authors of the articles are choosing their words very carefully, because nothing has been confirmed.

Sounds to me like he's already under scrutiny from many different sources.

Yes they are under scrutiny. some claim that some of the principles are under investigation by the Missouri AG.
At least one is on probation for securities fraud.

something I've noticed during my investigation of alll this: the language used by the scammers and the MLM'ers is eerily similar.
facts are ignored.
blame is placed on the mark.
repetitive phrases and requests.

No need to limit yourself to lurking. There are lots of 419 type scammers about. Read around a bit, sign up for a mentor, set up an anonymous email account and grab a lad. Smile
