I go out on regular trips to historic properties in the UK but the photos I'm most proud of are the ones I take of birds I see there that I have to snap with lightning reactions.
Plump Robin with attitude
An incredibly skittish bird, and lucky to get it holding a snack.
It just struck me as amusing.  |

…because now, am left with nothing and remember i told you my Guy (Joe) gave up earlier this morning |

That 'incredibly skittish' bird is in fact a Grey Wagtail. |

Thanks for the information Shrek the Quarter.
I do feel a little stupid not knowing what it's called, but it's not a common sight in my part of the UK.
I can understand why it's got the 'Wagtail' in it's name. |

we always put bird tables and things out during thw winter, so we get a lot of vistors, although i can never remember what comes along :S
although i know there were Buzzards at our old home, and theres a kite living in the woodland opposite our current place |

Nice. I'm not much of a birder. I feed them in the winter, and like to see Cardinals, and others come drink out of our pond.
Never really gotten the bug though to go out and take pictures of them. |
