It is a climbing vine, and the leaves are really pretty to look at. I have seen it used to make bouquets over here.
I would appreciate if somebody could tell me its name so that I could look it up on growing it in my garden. |

I agree - an Asparagus Fern. The leaves can grow really long and start clinging and twining themselves around things. They are really beautiful ferns when given the right conditions. The one in your picture, is getting way too much sunlight and needs more water.  |

Thanks for the help, everyone!
It really does not look like a fern. I have seen it trained to climb up all the way up to the roof level on the side of a house, and would like mine to grow that way, too.
The one I have gotten is just a foot or so high after a year or so of planting it.
Edit, after search: It is not really a fern at all, and it belongs to the Asparagus family. It evidently is a pest and can get out of control.

Yep like bamboo, it can get out of control but can be contained if you plant it in a pot that's in the ground. Give it something to cling to and it really is beautiful in a shady spot. |
