The forums seem to be having some hiccups..

Been pretty good most of the time.. But other times it seems really really slow.. Then just a little while ago i couldn't get on at all.

Might I suggest, it's not the forum that slow, just some of the members.

No on 2nd thoughts I won't suggest that, O'shit I've just clicked send..

What is crap at the moment is Fastmail, I've been trying to set up another
account or three, and will it accept my rubbish, will it buggary. The link
for verification simply doesn't do what it should. And it keeps telling me,
To reload my details.
If it keeps going, I'll take my business elsewhere. Wink

To be fair I was having some timeout issues trying to get here this morning (around 10am UK time). Seems OK now.

Noticing the time you made your post, Jackdaripper, I can tell you from experience, Eater does some sort of data backup about that time every day. Eater will almost always slow down or spin for a few minutes around that time. I am not quite sure what it is doing; I just know it happens. Hope that helps. Very Happy

Dora beat me to it. Jack, that time always nets a slow-down. I sometimes have to wait several minutes (literally) at that time just to open a thread to read.

Don't know what time zone you're in, but where I am that's a warning to me that I'm supposed to be going to bed. Wink

The forums don't back up, we just tell the part-time trolls that. The forum slows because we need the power to keep our experiments functioning. Eater isn't a forum, it's a front. We have to get our giant tarantula robots ready for our world domination, but it's a secret .... oh crap ... sorry.... Damnit!

There are times when it basically locks up on me. I'll have to close out the window and open it again. Then it will work fine.

Also, sometimes it forgets I've checked the "automatically log in" button and it will ask for my user name and password

There was a HUGE wolf spider climbing up my leg and skirt earlier today,
My own fault, when it was on the wall I was trying to hide it from the couple viewing my mum's old place, diverting them by pointing out double power sockets etc.
