For more years than I can remember I've had a Tori Amos track on disk one, track one in my car. Coming home from work I have to wait in a line to get on the highway and cue it up. Yeah its sappy but by the time I hit the ramp, all is well with the world.

My military son plays the piano better and my daughter has a better voice, but Tori Amos puts on a good performance.

I love Tori Amos, but I prefer her older stuff, such as her songs from Little Earthquakes or Under The Pink. Her new stuff is not quite as good. Thats just my thoughts on it. I have her new CD but I havent actually listened to it yet.

Used to just simply adore her - her early work was brilliant.

It was recorded when she still liked men and before she became a feminazi for sociopathic teenage girls. Instead of continuing to listen to her I found it much more pleasurable to sit in the backyard and poke myself in the eye with a pointed stick.

Thanks grlnxtdr681 : I am an old one. Never had the time to appreciate her music. The link was fascinating and I will have to listen to her songs. Dunno' if I'll like them or not, but have to give her a fair chance. Very Happy

Ever since 'Nam, I've been 60% deaf in the speech frequency's , so I mostly listened to instrumentals which I could "hear" pretty well. So, I'm not PC when it comes to Vocals. Since I have been issued new "Behind the ear" aids, I can really hear speech very well. This has resulted in discovering "new" music (read that as Vocals Laughing

) I have been going wild over Pink Floyd and Santana. Embarassed

tori amos is a very talented artist - i like her work a lot.

she lives in england now (devon i think) so maybe she will do a uk tour as well
