Ignore Andy's comments, especially about not adding chocolate or nuts. You need good nuts too. Pistachios, macademia and cashews by preference.
His comment about two baking sheets is also rubbish; you need five: two in the oven, two cooling off and one ready for the next batch. If you feed the oven at four minute intervals you can keep busy and get the job done quicker. 112 is optimistic; I've never got more than abut 90, but then I like big cookies.
If you make a half batch then you don't have to be so military.
Use a huge mixing bowl.
I use 50% wholemeal flour and 50% white flour.
You'll not get chocolate chips or Hershey bars in the UK. Just get 32 oz of chocolate and chop it up a bit. Last time I put it in the blender with the nuts. It worked fine.
Do not over-bake. After eight minutes cooling on the baking sheet and another four or eight on a cooling rack, they should be just about able to keep themselves in one piece if you heap them up carefully.

Although we don't get Hershey Bar in the UK thee'sprobably many other choclate bars we could substitute
We DO get chocolate chips.
Tesco and Asda stock them.
I've seen them in white, dark and milk.
When its not so humid I'll think about baking some cookies

At the considerable risk of being labeled a jackbooted free-speech hater, I'm going to quietly lock this thread as it's turning into a (well intentioned) free-for-all and by the looks of things, we have plenty of those.
Feel free to tell Luckey how pissed you are at me.
