Ok, so im new to all this. I have been reading alot of your forums and understanding alot. What is the best way to get your email address out there. I read somewhere to sign guestbooks, was wondering if there is anything else. I also set up a gmail account. Does that automaticly block the IPS? or i still got to use a proxy or shell or something. Oh, and how does the email address get out to more guys. Do the lads ever tell other lads about the email addresses, or they find them themselves. Thanks guys. Sorry for the noob questions.

Gmail strips the IP from your e-mails so you should be fairly okay using it. Hushmail is another good service if you're concerned about privacy. Set up one account just for receiving the 419 mails (a catcher account) and a separate account for baiting the lads.

If you want you could also take a look at the surplus letters section on this forum as well as adding your catcher account to a couple of guestbooks. Your catcher account should receiver a few new mails every day.

so they arent suspicious when another email address emails them back that they never emailed?! so my catcher account is one i spam all over the place to get 419 mail.. and i make another secret address to email the people that emailed my catcher acount back? i gotcha.

Yup, they really have no clue what emails they sent their format to, and even if they did it could have been auto-forwarded on, etc. Bait safe and have fun... read up on the stickies!

They're not a bit suspicious of this, I do it all the time. Once they think they can get money out of you they don't care if you're the one they sent the original e-mail to or not.

Lads spam hundreds/thousands of addys at a time. They don't usually have the time or inclination - basically their laziness is directly proportional to their greed - to check replies against sent addys. Just copy and paste the body of the text of their opening gambit email into any reply to add some authenticity.

oh ok. So thats solved. What about the emails that say like free sex and have a weird link. or won the lottery click this link. Those are phishing sites? and dont have anything to do with here right.

Lottery scams are common enough. Any links with them to sites are just there to make them seem legit. I haven't come across any porn related e-mails yet so I don't know what there like for scams.

@leonidas, either phishing or trying to install malware. Stay clear of them. They're not baitable since there is no one there to bait, only machines.

There are also the ones for online pharmacies that may be baitable in the same way as phone-lads, but probably not, since they probably want you to order on-line, and the websites would be dangerous to visit.

Its kinda late and to be honest I just skimmed over your post but I would say if your going to post on a random geustbook then at least have a look at the site your posting on and post something relevant to the subject matter. Its just good practice.

Also, from what I've read lads arent particularly charitable to other lads so I wouldnt worry about them sharing information. Its funny really because if they actually got their s**t together we'd probably have a harder time of things. ASEM's have a pretty good success rate.

Welcome.
Sign those guestbooks for plenty of 419's direct to your catcher
account, which I keep separate from my baiting account. Never
an issue with the lads. They do not keep tabs.
