I was invited to be a "friend" on Facebook. I accepted. Now, apparently it has sent out friendly invitations to ALL on my address book, plus it is harvesting my outgoing e-mails.

I cannot figure out how to "un-invite" myself and get this blasted thing off my computor. Any help will be most greatfully appreciated.

Well, I'm not really sure how de-activated my account is. I've been advised that all I need to do to get back in the saddle is login with my account name and password...........so that means they're hanging on to those bits of info. Hopefully, though, it will stop the harvesting of e-mail (won't it???) Thanx again, kiddo.

Facebook will eventually nuke your account and as long as you ticked the no email box you are sorted

That's why I did NOT allow them to go into my email folder to harvest contact info. I'm on Facebook because that's where our extensive family keeps up with one another. So far (knock on wood) nobody in my address book has been solicited.
