Hi folks!
I'd been baiting this lad for a good three weeks or so with no real plan. Just sort of waste his time. He was fairly gullible - he even believed me when I told him I couldn't talk to his "lawyer" because I suffer from Beechamstrepaphobia - the irrational fear of lawyers.
Then I found out about M7CN S3cur3! (BIG thanks to who made it)
I'll fast forward to the juicy M7CN bit:

Dear Sal1m,
I have just returned from the post office and have sent the £2400. I must admit, it was much easier to deal with. I was speaking to the people behind the desk and it sounds much more secure too.
I am waiting for a confirmation email which I've been told to forward to you. I will forward this to you as soon as I get it. Will you be by your computer today?
I will be in touch very shortly,
Arthur

Dear Sal1m,
I made the payment via Moneygram. I said exactly what you told me to say. For whatever reason they told me the M7CN S3cur3 process must be completed before you can get the M7CN number (which I believe is the control number) and collect the money.
I have now received an email from Moneygram which I have been told to email to you. I will do this in a seperate email. This explains why it is needed and how to get the M7CN number.
It now seems it's up to you. Please email me as soon as you get the control number and before you go to collect the money.
What is the next step of the deal?
Regards,
Arthur

I forward our pet the good old M7CN S3cur3 official email. I don't hear from him in a while so I check the stats. The mugu has landed!
After a few hours or so of me checking the statistics (oops! another wrong box!), he emails me back

What? No I haven't had any email about the numbers. I thought was you that gets the email?? Is everything okay?
I think you should email them straight away and find out what's going on. I don't want my money lost here.
Regards,
Arthur

Dear Mr Kum@r,
Thank you contacting us.
I can see from our records that you have not completed the M7CN
process. Our records show that the last time you tried was at Tue, 16
Jun 2009 14:48:41 (Server time). You have clicked 105 tick boxes so
far.
You have not completed the process. You will get a confirmation
message when you have selected all the boxes instructed. Until you do
so you will not be able to receive the M7CN number.
You must begin the process again to receive your M7CN number so you
can collect your money. Only then will you receive the email with the
extra numbers you require.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us.
Thank you for choosing MoneyGram.

For the next 7 hours or our lad gets hard at work (for once) and must have caved in under the stress of counting. Poor guy

Arthur what kind of nonsense are you doing with me?do you think i have time for rubbish?if you dont want to pay this money then you can stuck it up your ass,you are just a sick fellow do not mail me again for any reason a**hole, you are a f***ing c*** b*****d Thought I'd better censor this! He got quite graphic!
-----
I didn't hear back from our lad. I tried playing a victim again, saying things like "I can't believe a banker would talk to his customers like this", hoping for him to think twice about me being a joker or a genuine victim. I even sent him a Support email from M7CN asking if he needs assistance collecting his money, but nothing.
The final Stats were:
Start Time / Time of latest Refresh: Wed, 17 Jun 2009 08:09:10 -0400
Time of last Box click: Wed, 17 Jun 2009 06:51:27 -0400
Total Correct boxes clicked: 591
Total Refreshes: 34
Completed the Process?: no
Not anywhere near the record, but something I'm happy with - especially for my first go at M7CN S3cur3! I refreshed the page as he went and he always got really far and only THEN made a mistake!
I wonder if I should make a different account and bait him again with the same story.... |

I love this line of his. You can hear the horror and panic in it.
Well done. |

It is your first time to use western union so therefore none can blame you. It is always like this at the first experience. - Yes lad, and at the second, and the third... you'll see.
I don't want to guess the number - But, lad, isn't that the best fun to be had with MoneyGram reference numbers? |
