Could use some advice

I have a lad who is a little suspicious about whether or not I am the real deal. He keeps trying to call me, but of course for some reason or another I never answer. This is the last email I got from him:

If l call you i do get voice message and am surprise why you have difficulty to get me
,pls let be real,this is rear oppotunity as you know if not recognised it will be abused.

To which I promptly replied:

I can’t be running around trying to make phone calls that won’t connect, or sitting by a phone waiting for you to call me an some appropriate time. Email is convenient and simple to use, but if you feel that you cannot complete this transaction via email, then go find someone else to help you!

Any suggestions on how to keep this guy hooked?

It must be that your phone company is having issues sending and receiving international calls.

Tell your lad that you have filed a complaint with your provider and they told you that this should be resolved within 6 to 8 weeks.

Also keep in mind that if you absolutely need a phone call made, there are plenty of other baiters from all over the world that are happy to help.

I informed him that my local phone company has been receiving similar complaints from several other customers regarding international calls and that the phone company is still in the troubleshooting phase of resolving the issue.

Just change the focus to the Money, and not the Phone, and act like a real victim does. Be interested, but if he continues to hound you about it, tell him he's being rude and unreasonable, and to shut the hell up about the damn phone! You are the boss. "Now, where did you want me to send your money?...." Very Happy

He called and left another message. I think he said he would like me to fly him. He hasn't even asked me for any money yet.

he suggests you fly to meet him because it makes you think "this has to be real, why else would he suggest we do this in person".

when you tell him it is impossible for you to travel, your new friend will find a barrister to handle your end of the business (obviously for a fee).. Just go slow and act like a real victim, you'll do fine.
