They are supposedly "in love" with a scammer. The thing that is odd is that the scammer supposedly tells them he wants them to come to him. I know she has sent him money and he was exposed previously but has promised he won't "cheat on her" again. I think if he was proven to be a scammer at this point she might finally open her eyes. I'm not going to post his info in the forum because google searches this site and she found information I had posted previously. If anyone feels they are up to this, let me know and I'll provide you everything I know. Some caveats are that he has given her the passwords to the email accounts and profiles I know about and so he likely will only "slip up" over messenger or possibly on the phone. As she checks his emails he will immediately tell you to leave him alone if you contact him in this way. I'm afraid this is hopeless, but she is about to get a fairly sizable disability check and I'm afraid it will be going to him.

Hey Joey, your best bet is to PM any info you have to any of the colourful members over on scamwarners.com (I'm one on them, but there are plenty of others too). We will do some research and see what can be done, but it doesn't sound like the easiest warning.

You could try showing your friend this site. Do a bit of research first and find a couple of threads that resemble your friends encounter, and sit with hr while she reads them. If she chooses not to believe what she's reading or refuses to read, then there's not a lot you can do.

As far as the following goes, We can't help, no one can we can only advise on what's going on, We can't wave a magic wand, and all will be well , it doesn't work like that.

Is that a bad thing, to publish the truth about a known scammer. And really without some details we nor anyone else have any evidence that he / she / it, is in fact a scammer. It's the easiest thing in the world to type up a bogus story, to get even with someone, who might be perfectly innocent.
I suggest you show people the real story if you want help, E-mails, names, headers, photo's. And you could also post the complete story on scamwarners as "newdonym" has suggested.

Asking for help, assistance and then requiring caveats is bullshit.

I am just catching up on where we are with this.

For those not familiar with this case, we (well, I cant take credit for that myself) did manage to get the scammer to reply to an ASEM and he was interested, this proved only that the scammer is a 2 timer and liar, he used various profiles with a range of ages and personal details which is certainly enough to raise suspicion for most people.

We had a lot of information posted and spent loads of time researching various leads and while everything pointed to scam, none of it gave absolute proof.

As the OP suggests, the girl who is in contact requested the thread be pulled from SW and it was.

The unfortunate thing here is that had the thread not been pulled, we may have actually had other victims saved and also post the missing proof that it is a scammer.

This time around, we will need to try different tactics to find the proof, the vic is very much in love and refuses to believe anything we post.

@ Joeyjoejoe, I have replied to your PM and requested anything new to be sent to me. Meanwhile I will go through my own records and see if any of those search results now lead to new information.

I will stress, this will take a lot of time and searching so any help you can give will make it much more likely we will get the proof you are after
