I'm averaging about 25 new scam emails per account each day. I've only signed on to 2 or 3 guestbooks per account. Just wondering how many everybody is getting. It certainly is an endless supply. Good thing I don't actually read any of them before responding. Very Happy

averaging about 15-20 per day.Think the trick is to cherry pick the most bizarre ones rather than the hundrum,or am i wrong?

I try to waste all of their time. I just reply without typing anything just to keep them in play. I don't usually type anything until/unless they go off script. I prefer to chat. Very Happy

The story goes that the ruler of India was so pleased with one of his palace wise men, who had invented the game of chess, that he offered this wise man a reward of his own choosing. The wise man, who was also a wise mathematician, told his Master that he would like just one grain of rice on the first square of the chess board, double that number of grains of rice on the second square, and so on: double the number of grains of rice on each of the next 62 squares on the chess board. This seemed to the ruler to be a modest request, so he called for his servants to bring the rice. How surprised he was to find that the rice quickly covered the chess board, then filled the palace! Let's stop here, and see just how many grains of rice this is. It is actually 2 to the power of 63 which is near enough to be 18,446,744,070,000,000,000.

Now, imagine a grain of rice to be your first e-mail to a lad. You confirm it's active by replying so he may move it to a 'good' list. The next day he passes that list onto a friend and the following day both of them pass it on to two further friends. The next day is Sunday so they are good little chaps and go to church where they pray for the success of their baits. On Monday, all four of them pass the list on again..........................and so on.

Obviously this is not how it really happens but as your e-mail is passed/sold on, it will multiply and so will the amount of mail you receive.

The trick here is to secure employment for a two month contract. Tell your prospective employer that you really have no interest in the renummeration but that you work for the pleasure. Just to keep things 'tidy' with the bean counters, you will take a token payment of a penny on the first day and double it everyday until the completion of your engagement. Payable in cash. They have to supply the wheelbarrows.

If you want to do something useful with your surplus lads, why not post them into 'surplus' forum? Often new baiters ask where they can get scam emails from (believe it or not!) and we direct them towards the Surplus Forum

I signed just one guest book two days ago with a fresh email address. Now I have 25 pieces of new "mail" in two days. A few are phishing emails but most are clearly 419. It will be interesting to see how it multiplies over time.

Going through my archives, I discovered that I'm getting on average about 10 to 15 of these a day. Most i never even see because my spam filter catches them.

I've *never* signed up for a guest book or anything like that. I don't have time to play with all of them, but I've got two on the hook now that look promising, so I'll stick with just them unless something else intriguing comes along.

I haven't signed any guest books, but I still get 3 spams a week - so they are really just out spamming any account...

they are almost all "next of kin" or the "job" ones...some of them I reply to and just string along in my free time...I don't have much success stringing them along - I'm more of a romance baiter...

We shou;d subscribe them to every porn magazine advertising and stupid mailing list so there mail boxes are so full they have no idea who to respond to and take days and days to unsebscribe every try to get rid of that junk before

Actually, your idea isn't new. But we just don't do that. See, the moment the lad gets all that spam, guess what he will do with it? He will just make a new email address and start over. And he will take his victims and potential victims (you can be sure he has their contact information safely somewhere else) and just start working them from a new addy.

It is better to keep the lads busy with baiting them from an account we know about. This is the same reason we don't close lad email accounts; there just isn't any real benefit in it. As easily as you and I can set up a new email account, so can they.

So find a lad or two (or more) and join the fun and start baiting! Very Happy

Im not exactly sure.

I reply to 10-20 a day initially, and once I get a lad trophyed and hooked I stop looking for new lads.

I let them mails build up in the spam folder until my bait ends with the other lad then the process starts all over again.
