It's from lovingyou.com. The romance lads often paste from that site. Funny he chose that little piece of "poetry" out of all the stuff that is posted there. Laughing

i'm guessing that some romance scammers like to impress their paramours with a few lines of poetry.
has anyone ever google'd the lines and challenged the scammer with plagarism?

^ That'd approach educating them...

It would probably be better to tell them their poetry sucks (regardless of what crap they send you) and teach them how to make it even worse.

@ MoP mmmm, am liking the Lad(dy) poetry site idea. I write appallingly bad poetry. Would be happy to contribute.

@r2d2 - I keep telling my lad what a wonderful poet he is and how clever he is to think of all these poems that clearly are written personally for me and come from the heart. He tells me how hard it is sometimes, but then the words just flow.......

Okay.. I did a (very simple) header... I'm thinking about a small menu on the side perhaps (with links with roses in front of 'm and stuff).

Any tips/requests (except remarks about the missing letter in 'petry') are welcome of course. I'm not sure how much time I'm gonna have in the near future... So I don't know when this'll be finished.

i agree that educating a lad to change his modalities is normally a bad idea.
but in this case the alternative to plagarism is actually writing poetry himself,
which seems like more work for him.
personally, i doubt a scammer will stop writing poetry to all his girlfriends just because one of them pulls him up

I had one Romance Lad who wrote me beautiful love letters.

I then sent him a list of links showing where they were to be found.

I told him that 'every woman knows' how to search to check that a love letter is original and genuine. Education? I hope so. I'd rather he went to all the effort of writing in his own extremely bad and revolting style than send a real victim a nice and believable letter like this.

I also baited him from another character. He had learnt the lesson. He instead wrote her paragraphs on how he would like to get intimate with her slidey bits. In a manner that would send most women to barracade the doors. Natuarally, my character loved this. It showed her that she was so special to him. I hope he has learnt that lesson too, and repeats it every time.

@MOP~ I think that would be perfect! I'm sure my lad would appreciate it. He has in fact recently told me I am his laddy Shocked

(as well as some other things, of course!) He's also sent me the words to some songs. Another favorite of his is to send me tons of eCards! Perhaps we could create some type of eCard site for them as well? Oh, the possibilities are endless! Twisted Evil
