I've just loaded that Google Chrome into the old thunder box. Nothing unusually about that, So have thousands of other people.
Main advantages as far as I can see are, It's about five times faster then Internet Explorer
It over-lays over the top of Internet explorer, So your endless list of favorites is retained.
But the big advantage is it also supplies a "Spell checker" on whatever your doing and regardless of the sight or forum your using. Type something wrong, and you get a red wiggle line under the word. Right click and and the correct spelling is displayed. Click on that and it replaces the miss-slept word.
Disadvantage is it wipes all your "Cookies" So go looking for your list of user-names and passwords. |

So does Firefox. If you haven't tried it, you should. It's not as fast as google chrome but much faster than IE. The addons is what makes FF so good I think. If you have a few Gmail accounts, and I'm guessing you do, then you'll be happy to hear there is an addon to manage them. |

I use Chrome, and it's great! But I agree that the lack of extensions gets slightly irritating at times, as FireFox can do just about anything and everything.  |
