Wow, This thread has taken some strange twists over the past few days.
Curly, You are right, matters of the heart do hurt. Love/Romance scams are particularly hard to deal with because of the emotions involved. I know from personal experience, because it was a romance scam that brought me to Eater in the first place. |

I am becoming more and more convinced that This I am being scammed ,but I can always hope...
Wu I guess isnt at all what i thought with the security.
Would anybody have any ideas why the ip addresses jump or is my cyberlove jumping also?? she claims to be in st petersburg
It has been a constant 213.175.193.213 for most of the letters which is a internet company in th uk then it jumps to new york68.199.241.34
any feed back??
like i said I have been talking with this person for 2mo. almost everyday except two holidays. and if it is a scammer there gonna waste alot of time with me!!

^^Hope is a good thing, but not when it comes to scammers. To them, it's just another way to milk you for cash. You are like a slot machine to them. As long as you give them a handle to pull, they figure there's a chance for a pay-off.
Regarding the IP's, headers usually have several IP's listed. Usually, only the bottom most IP after "Received From" is significant for the origin. It also depends on what provider they are using as some strip IPs.
If you can post the full headers, we can take a look. You can delete your own email address and name. |
