I have been offered a job from Craigslist and seems to good to be true and we all know what that usually means. Below is a copy of the offer, please check it out and if anyone knows, advise as to this being a scam or not.
thanks

No Experience is needed. You don't have to pay any money to start working with us! You can make up to $10,000 a month.

We are a privately owned company, based in Greece and focused on providing European companies a fast and reliable way of receiving payments from non-EU countries. Because of the European Union laws, any company that receives money transfers from non-EU companies has to pay VAT (Value Added Tax), 19% of all incoming transfers. But we don't have to pay the VAT as long as we receive money transfers from a US resident and this way we can save a lot of money.

We agree to deposit funds into your bank account if you accept 6% of these funds as immediate payment for your services. You will only be responsible for sending the remaining of the funds to our company in Europe by Western Union. The fees for sending these payments will be deducted from our 94%.
Note: You can opt for a bigger, 10% commission which will be paid via a certified check within 10 business days. If so, you will initially send the full amount and you will be mailed a paycheck by our company.

There is no reason for your concern regarding your bank account info, as we are only asking for information needed to send money to you. You may also open a new account to be used only with our company.

You will only receive wire transfers to your account, we are a legitimate company and we DO NOT SEND CHECKS. Domestic wire transfers in the US take up to 24 hours to process and once posted they cannot bounce like checks.

Therefore, we are seeking for a trust-able person in USA who owns a bank account in order to receive payments by wire transfers from our US clients. After the funds will be deposited into your bank account and the wire transfer is clear, you will be contacted by one of our staff to indicate you where to send the money.

The only thing that is needed in order to work with us is to open a new bank account or if you already own one we can use that account to receive payments.

You can earn between $5,000 and $10,000 per month for the beginning. The amounts that will be deposited into your account are between $20,000 to $30,000 every week. You will also receive bonuses every month if the funds are sent to us on time. This can be your second job (part time job). You only need to work a few hours per day.

In order for this job to be legal in USA, you have to pay taxes. But you only have to pay taxes for your income, which is 6% of the amount transferred to you. We strongly recommend that you keep all receipts and our payment requests, as proof of your actual income because you will receive a 1099 for your 6% at the end of the year.

Absolutely a scam.

It will likely fall into one of two categories:

1) They will use phished bank accounts or stolen credit cards to deposit money into your account. You see the money in your account, withdraw and send them the cash, and a few days later the true source of the money is identified and the transfer/advance is cancelled. You are responsible for paying back the withdrawn money (and perhaps facing charges for fraud or money laundering.)

2) they have a hacker or someone on the inside who will flash your account, making it look like the money is there. Then of course the exact same thing happens...
