I tried a variation of the ASEM on a home refinance spam mail and it is working even better than I thought. I have some dumbass internet home loan company chasing around financing for Lionel Drinkwater's new Citation X business jet. Lionel refuses to sign any papers or to make any committments until he is sure they have $10,000,000 locked in at 12.0% to help him. Someone in Lionel's league could get b-jet financing easily at 6.0% based on a $5,000,000 balance, so this company thinks they will get a 7% premium on $10,000,000.

I ASEM'd the initial spam letter to a different company and name and these dumbasses hijacked the letter. They never told Lionel he made a mistake even though my initial reply included a caveat at bottom that the e-mail was confidential and to notify the sender if it the e-mail were unintentionally received.

I think I will later follow Solitary Man's lead and tell them that Lionel's pilot is blind and ask if that will cause any problems with the loan. I am absolutely screwing with these people. They haven't asked for money yet and are obviously very inexperienced internet shysters.

In my last letter, they wanted to know if I would put down 30% on the $10,000,000. It's obvious that they are looking to broker a 10% aircraft loan and want to pocket the 20% difference as an up-front profit and then sell the loan. This is a ridiculously easy bait if you know how financing works.

I call what I am doing "spambaiting" because I am baiting spammers. It is a fun variation to bait people that are essentially lads. Spammers, Lads: There is very little difference in my mind.

Hmmm...Sounds like fun. I have thought about how to so that, just never stepped off and done it Wink Looks like you have a great bait going here. I want to see how this one ends up, JD. Awesome tactics...I want to see if they bite on the blind pilot part LoL.
