Here's a nice little find. While playing with domain names associated with commonly accessed children websites, this was found.
Preteen children (mine looks at nick toons and daily noggin daily, along with webkinz, etc) practice using computers and I have been teaching my daughter to type websites into the address bar. This should help familiarize her in the future age of technology in which we live. Unfortunately, the Russians have been feeding our children http://www.nick-toons.net which is a gateway to nudity. According to Alexa: http://alexa.com/siteinfo/nick-toons.net 35%+ of the visitors are United States based. According to www.whois.net they are run by the Russians yet again. http://whois.net/whois/nick-toons.net shows it stemming from:
DNS1: ns1.boysinsauna.com
DNS2: ns2.boysinsauna.com
Another non age verifying site offering yet MORE pornography to the internet. I've already forwarded a complain to www.obscenitycrimes.org but I do not know much about the organization as of yet. Has anyone else used this tactic of playing with domains and found any strong sites that are easily offered to our children? (I hope the Russians don't purchase http://www.disney-movies.com , it could be a repeat)

As someone who has spent the last three years in the Internet porn biz, I can't for the life of me understand why people set these things up. The whole point in putting porn on the Internet is to make money. That money comes from credit card transactions. Minors don't have credit cards. So, what's the point?
There have been sites like this for as long as the Web has existed. I've never understood how they could even make enough money to cover their operating expenses by marketing their material like that.
It's disgusting and it gives us decent Internet pornographers a bad name, and doesn't make any sense at all from a business perspective. |

do you guys stick mainly to 419 crimes, or does this site fight other sorts of internt crime as well? |

You sure? I thought we did ponzis and stuff in the Misc Scams forum. It's been a while since I've been here, though.
As far as I can tell, there's no scam here, though; just really strange/slimy marketing. |

It would be nice if the companies dealing with the copyright infringement of characters posted nude on that website could get it removed. Sadly this post has been up for a bit, and nothing has worked yet.
::sigh::
Hence why our world is so dark. Children frolic on the internet looking for Nickelodeon and instead.. they find this. |
