I'm brand new here, so would like some advice. I've been lurking here for some time - I thought I had lost these from last December, but found them in my archive folder. Now that I've seen the good work going on here I thought I'd give one of these a go:

Of course standard scams; I received them in my personal home e-mail account. Anyone here seen either of these? If so should I initiate contact with either of them for my first bait? I got them in my Outlook mail box so I don't think I can retrieve the header information (if ScamCop is correct).

I'll set up a gmail account to respond if you guys think it's worth it for me. Either of these would be my first bait. I'm tempted by Mr. James Brown - I could have a lot of fun with "hot pants" references, among many others. Also, I'd like to have that 46 million million pounds he's offering. However, Mrs. Bergeron is tempting as well as she doesn't want to talk on the phone.

Please let me know if either of these is a good candidate for my first bait. I'm anxious to get in the game.

They're all good for a first bait - remember you can't break scammerkind by baiting experiments (or we'd have done it a long time ago) so don't worry if you and your scammer fall out, there will be plenty more Surprised

)

Just pop over into the surplus forum where there are plenty of scams up for grabs, pick a few newer scams (choose by area of interest, or respond to one of each kind if you want to experiment), and send the standard "I'm interested, what do I need to do?" type of response.

you could try also sending and ASEM?
