Many do not know all the fun we have in the Fake Bank forum. It's not all about killing fake banks and other sites. Many nights we stay in there, not even writing a report. It is probably one of Eater's best kept secrets.

However, to encourage others to come join us (and kill a site or two in the process), I secretly snapped this picture of what really goes on in FB late at night and am willing to share it with y'all.

Please, don't tell the mods and admins about this.

We do have an excellent site killing mentor program in FB. But I have to be honest, it isn't always easy being a site killing mentor. I know I may have stressed mine out once or twice! Very Happy

I just had a thought - an event in itself, but when reports are sent off I wonder if it might be handy to also send a copy of the abuse report to the authority that regulates internet/online fraud in the hosts jurisdiction.

My thought is that it might add pressure and weight to the report and also promote 419eater to them too. Not all hosts are as co-operative as we would like, but it may give them pause for thought if they realise that they could become known to the authorities if they are allowing too many scammers to abuse their services.

I do need to get back into site killing. It is such fun to see a site give a 404, and it is not hard to do. I love finding them, and researching and then... killing them.
