That is a very clear scan. Not clear enough to see whether he or she is indeed a he or a she, though. Or are you not wanting to know until the delivery?

Its only the first scan, They couldn't tell us the sex as its too early

Are you going to ask them to predict the gender when the baby is old enough to tell from the ultrasound? We didn't with our first, did with the second.
I know people who were repeatedly told one gender and ended up with the other when the baby was born. They'd had everything personalized with the name they'd picked for the baby boy they were expecting, too. Laughing

For both of mine, I waited until they popped out to know. We just had names in reserve Laughing

It's more 'natural' that way, but if science can tell you the sex, why not! Be prepared before hand with room decoration and the like.

But unless you have amniocentisis done, it's only a prediction, not necessarily 100% accurate, so you shouldn't decorate the room for one gender. I was adamant with my first that I did not want to know the gender ahead of time. I thought it would be like knowing what's inside my Christmas gifts before opening them. I was also afraid they would be wrong and that would mess with my head too much.
I agreed to find out the gender for the second one as a compromise for my husband's wishes. Thankfully, the doctors were right.

Our Sarah wants a boy (even has a name ready), I'm not bothered either way, We will be asking just so we have an idea. If I am honest I just want a healthy happy baby

Is it normal to not be able to stop looking at the scan picture? Ive been neglecting the lads tonight.

This is why I recommend going with a gender neutral name. Examples:

Terry
Kelly
Riley
Jordan

It just takes all of the pressure off so that you can collect or get personalized gifts... Very Happy
