Congratulations Canadian,
I am sure both Mrs Canadian and yourself will spend many happy years together and yes, balls attached would make it even happier.
Start with Romance, let the lads celebrate afterwards with you |

Congratulations. Definitely go with the romantic proposal. It is the safest even though she may like a humorous or inventive proposal. It is not worth the chance of being really wrong since the memory will last a lifetime. You'll have to figure out what she considers romantic and perhaps you can incorporate a little creativity or humor. I got engaged this January. My boyfriend, now fiance, proposed in a slightly non-traditional way, but I absolutely loved it because it took thought, planning and he knew what meant a lot to me. |

Personally I'm a big fan of pre-nups. Cynical as that may seem.
They are not very romantic though so might get you in a lot of trouble.
I hope she says yes to you and makes you a happy man.
That is a lovely ring and I'm sure she will love it and you.
I wish you all the best and hope you have a wonderful life together. |

You could always try and make a lad get married to a sheep or something to celebrate! |

Aw sweet!
Congratulations
I never got an engagement ring or a romantic proposal.
Still we must have done something right as despite predictions we're still together. silver bells...
Hubby was muttering the other day about time off for good behaviour... |

Lovey said, "Well, I guess we may as well get married."
For that being a statement and not a question, I made him wait 2 years.
We had only lived together for 5 years at that time. |

^^^Corona I was pretty bad to my hubby too.
When my hubby wanted to propose he asked my girlfriend to help him pick out a ring for me. She wisely told him that he should ask me first to make sure I would say yes. He asked and I said 'no'. . Eventually he convinced me but I didn't make it easy for him.
Anyways, congrats Canadian419! I hope you have many many happy years together! |
