I sent them my "personal" information and they responded to me:
"We are in receipt of your email info but wish to point out that your bank name sounds ridiculous and we ask you to give us the bank website to know more about the bank. We shall henceforth stop every step until you reply us with the request."
Any ideas what I should do? I just made a fake Plunder and Flee bank site that I was thinking about posting but then was reading that the OCC has taken down other faux bank sites. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re-bait them from another email address and another character. And use a different bank name. |

Tell them that they may not have heard of it before because it has merged with Citi bank or is a subsidiary of Citi Bank.
Shiver's names he used were funny, but if you run into a scammer thats a bit more intelligent, he's going to know something is up.
No harm in using a real bank's name so long as you provide horribly fake details.

It certainly isn't wise, and just causes misunderstandings and headaches in the long run.
Just use a real bank with absolutely bogus account information, as suggested above. |

I tend to use the xxxx-xxx-xxxx format when giving a fake bank acocunt number. No complaints as of yet. |

I use M1D UPP3R GRAND UN!ON (read "MUGU") bank and make sure that there a couple of occurances of "419" in the account. |
