I'll have a look into the rootkit problem, depending on which program they used to install it on his system I might be able to find the same, (ie. turkojan, poison ivy) to recreate the server file and then remove them from the inside. I dunno, I'll give it some more thought and do more research. But it could be just as simple as a few Trojans. *shrugs*
