My daughter has some music playing and the song "Please" by Ray Lamontagne sounds like an old rock song, but I cannot figure it out which one. The song I am thinking of has a word in it that is something like "tripoli" or "triple e". That is all I can remember....

Well it's not a perfect match with your word triple-ee but the Grateful Dead song Sugaree has a similar repeating chords in the main part and has a prominent word with -eee at the end. All I could come up with.

Ah ha...I think it was Sugaree that I was thinking of. Unfortunately that youtube recording of "Please" is not very good. But the recorded version is much more Dead sounding.
