This is a particularly slimy lad ... he is using the 9/11 tragedy to do a next of kin modality. In the e-mail he has 2 links to real 9/11 memorial sites.

I think he needs the love only 419eater can give -- lots and lots of mail Twisted Evil

Wow, what's even more unusual is that he's saying he's in Hacienda Heights, CA! What does he plan on doing about the vics in CA who might want to meet with him, or go see him at that branch?

I'm curious - did you check his IP to see where he's actually from?

And yes, I agree it's particularly slimy. I also think it will have less success, at least in the US, as fewer Americans would be interested in ripping off the family of a victim of 9/11. And he says there IS a family (brother), which makes it even more unusual.

He's from Nigeria

He uses several cafes, so the IP changes from time to time - one of them shows America as it's originating IP, so he's not dumb.
