So after getting my first piggy and convincing this guy to use a bank transfer instead of western union, I generate a fake transfer slip with many thanks to deuzer, and send him on his way.

He immediately replies with:

How do you do today?I went to the bank they could not accept the slip because it was written COPY-DO NOT ACCEPT AS PROOF OF TRANSACTION.

Now if you can do me the favour and head to your bank and request for the payment slip which you filled while making the transfer and the confirmation slip which the bank used in making the wire transfer.This will help a lot.

Get back to me with the original from the bank so that i can proceed for the documents as scheduled.

Methinks that he's being devious and trying to get a real one (and don't worry deuzer, I know how serious that is, I'm keeping the prog safe, he aint getting it) or he knows its fake and is stringing me along so I'll give in and admit I didn't do it, in hopes that I will finally go to the western union office.

So, if this WERE a real transfer, he doesn't need a copy of the slip, right? I mean I transfer money between my accounts all the time with the routing and account numbers, but thats real money, not lad money.

He would want it possibly for future faking, he might also want it to prove to his oga or the lad the account belongs to that the money belongs to him.

A legitimate bank transfer would not need it - but maybe he needs it to get the money from the person whose bank account it is - which means you can withold it with joy Smile

Well I smacked him around a little for not knowing about bank transfers, and calling his experience into question.

The bank is in singapore, so I wanted to question him on how he went into a bank in singapore when he's in nigeria, but lads often ignore my questions if I ask too many at once (ie, more than 1).

Either way, this guy is going to "lose" $12k. Maybe I'll have to go to africa to hand deliver it.
