Hey, I have a vlad that sent me pictures of "her" with a bizzare mascot. I tried for an event tshirt from it. When I asked what the event was, or if it was a school mascot I was told about pancake week. What is up with that! Is this for real?

Today was pancake day. It is silly, but races are held and collections made for charities and all that. I plain lost my race because the chef’s hat was too big and fell over my eyes a lot, and most of my pancake ended up on the floor. But almost everyone enjoyed the events, especially the dog that ate my pancake. Lol.

I've just had a mad fifteen minutes.

There's only two of us, and 'er indoors said she only wanted one small one.*

So I made the smallest batch I dared to make - two or three ounces of flour - about one cup.

She had the first and the last, and I was eating the four in the middle as fast as I could to keep up with the next one. Laughing

@ Kate - That sounds very interesting. Suggest small hat next time and two months training before the big race. You should also eat the pancake before the race to carb up. Is this like a 5k run? I just started training up for a triathalon so pls forgive, my head is in that mode lately. I saw a news snippet about it last night (maybe you were in the race that was filmed?) and all was made clear about a lady who was late to church and arrived with a steamy cake in pan at the service. I assume the Russian version is not the same coz my vlad did not say anything about it even though prior to the day we had a three email discussion where I attempted a t-shirt trophy grab.
