So I just had this idea after reading the M7CN sec. thread - how about a neverending Captcha website to retrieve the M7CN code?
I'm not a programmer, but you could make a site that has horribly impossible to read captcha code, then when the get it wrong 3 times - it locks them out for 30 mins. Just long enough that they would want to wait in the internet cafe burning time to try it again. 3 more tries - bam, locked out again for another 30.
Thats an easy hour you can waste. Of course, they could also be scamming others while waiting, so its not as involved as M7cn sec. On the other hand, some scammers just give up too easy on m7cn, so maybe if you feel your lad is too clever, you could use the captcha one.
Just an idea.
Oh, for anyone that doesn't know, Captcha is that thing on email signup or file downloads that has the twisted picture and they make you type in the letters. |

That's a great idea 
It could be made so it fails all the time and tells you the error.. like the 2 was a Z or vice versa  Also symbols from the greek alphabet could be a nice addition. |

I don't think we should give any feed back or hints though - captcha doesn't because it would make cracking it easier.

captcha - 3 wrong - bamm - lock them out for 15 min, but write there: sorry, try it again in 3 (5) min.
and nice would be a random mode, so that sometimes it just works straight, and in 6 of 9 tries he gets tortured. |

The more I think/read about this the better it gets.
He could have to type in a ten-digit captcha in order to reveal the M7CN...one....digit...at...a...time...
And then of course he will "allegedly" screw up and get kicked to the back of the process again.
The possibilities are endless!

I love this! I've got my first bait in a long time just about ready for the M7CN sec...too bad this doesn't exist right now, I'd love to use it. Oh yes, the frustration factor on this could be outrageously high!

With a little work you could make the individual captcha characters gifs that change subtely so that he has no chance of getting them right - and another layer of characters could be the ones they use to test colour blindness, except that these are altered so that you appear colour blind.
Of course you'd need an audio option for those who are having trouble - you don't want to be a complete bastard do you ? - but you make the language options available - German, Russian and Japanese.
You could add an English version - but clearly, as it's overused, it's become a little distorted and goes from s - l - o - w to fast making it impossible to understand. |

Wow guys, glad you like my idea!
I've had a few more ideas to expand on it. You'd have to play around with the "lockout time", but if you could combine the lockout time with the "expiration time", you could time it so that after 2 lockouts, the M7CN expires.
Then, YOU have to go back to the WU office AGAIN. And you aren't happy about it, not one bit. Why are YOU (the lad) making this so difficult?
Another idea is something I pitched on the M7CN sec. thread - after they sucessfully retrieved the M7CN number :

This has to be one of the best ideas I've seen here...I get a big smile on my face just imagining the lads sitting in the cafes getting angrier and angrier with every time they mistake a 5 for an S, a 9 for a g, a 1 for an l, etc. |

And what makes it even better is you KNOW they have to type in the captchas all day long for new free email accounts, mass multiple email logins, all kinds of stuff. They probably hate them already! |

^^^But the best part is that they are AWARE of them...they are familiar to them. That has been one of my problems with M7TN Secure - it's all rather unfamiliar, and any mugu with a few extra brain cells can start to get suspicious. But they all know these captcha things! This is BRILLIANT! |

That is a really good idea. Captcha gets me pretty much every time on the first go  Fuzzy, upside down letters are the worst.
Actually, if someone wanted to go a step further, you could make up a website with passphrases that the baiter sets up. In order to get the MTCN, the scammer would have to answer a number of questions, such as
"What is the fifth letter of the second word of your second passphrase?"
"What is the ninth letter of the first word in your sixth passphrase?"
One site I have used is like that, and it takes me forever to log in mainly because I have a terrible memory and can never remember which passphrase is which.

You could also have dropdown lists for answering the question when is your birthday - and then reply 'WRONG' - 'this does not agree with the date you specified' when they never specified a date, or have the drop down lists with missing or jumbled numbers/letters.
Or have them answer simple questions like - 'Name an animal with three letters that dislikes cats' - answer 'dog' - WRONG 'pig' |

Include some nasty words once in a while. And how about a new security feature: having them speak the decoded word into the microphone to confirm the Captcha. Of course the computer can't hear and will ask "louder please" several times... |
