so this guy is selling a Macbook air for $300 Canadian dollars
he told me to pay him via Western Union Money Transfer
this persons name on Facebook is : Cynthia Rushing
when you go onto his profile u can see that he posted many products on Facebook market place. he says he sells it for cheap because he works directly with apple company so he gets mass qauntity therefore he sells for a whole sale price.

he gave me a name and an adress to transfer the money

is this guy a scam????
please let me know

Set up a facebook account under totally fake info.

Respond to one of his ads, and show interest in the item he is selling. Ask lots of questions, one at a time. Don't forget to check his email headers (unless he is using fastmail or gmail) to see if you can identify where he really is--it may be Washington, but not likely. The phone number is New York, not Washington, and may be a mule's.

Or if you still feel uncertain that he is a scammer, ask him for something that doesn't exist but is close to real (e.g. a color that model doesn't come in, a slightly different spec.) Many (but not all) scammers will miraculously have what you are asking for.
