After I sent him an email to bug off here's what He sent back:

Thanks my good friend for giving me the opportunity to respond to your last correspondence. Please I have taking much of my time writing you this email. So carefully read the email message and get back to me.

I will not tolerate any direct or indirect insults from you for any reason whatsoever, I have my dignity to live up to, perhaps you need to earn the respect and trust which I have for you, otherwise what will be the point of doing business with you if at this early stage you are finding it difficult to trust me, or at least give me benefit of the doubt.

You should also agree with me “there is never smoke without fire”. While some of the stories you know are true, some others are far from it. People actually transfer funds out of here. How else do you think past office holders become rich after office? How come the same people who have worked in the banking industry in the past, are the same people running big time companies today? It is through shady deals that they guarantee themselves a better standard of living and then are able to propel themselves to seek for political assignment after retiring from the banking industries.

I am the initiator of this deal and have given you my word, which is my bond. I am the one here and an integral part of the banking system. I am not joking in my assessment of this. You know your system while we know our system .I have also heard the saying “if it sounds too good to be true then it is not true!!!” conversely same way you do not get the taste of tea unless you soak it in hot water. I had been aware of this, that some unscrupulous persons actually capitalized on the real existence of this kind of transaction to exhort money from foreigners and had actually hoped that I could get this entire transaction properly and successfully concluded before it gets to your knowledge.

However, I tried my possible best to keep calm with the hope that all this will not be tainted by such misfortune. However, this was definitely going to be no mean feat considering the fact that our project was so sensitive that it might not be able to withstand unusual scrutiny, so there was no way to confirm or countercheck any untoward details.

This was further compounded by the activities of the scam racketeers all over the world. I will not waste my time tutoring you on their activities, because you already have so much knowledge and details of this. How much of this do you know? However, I want you to realize that such scams will not be possible if there were no real life activities that they are predicated upon. Yes it is true that it has eaten very (too) deep into our society especially amongst the younger generation around the world. We as banker on our part have not been able to do much at stopping them because we lack the moral justification to carry out an all out war against this stain on our bank reputation.

This I knew was going to be a major problem, because our business also is scrutiny sensitive. All these I had pointed out to you. I had also in my own little way tried to sound you out on the issue.

I really am at a loss for what to say, because I really have to give you concrete explanations in a situation where the most one can do is just talk. From inception, I knew this business was going to depend a lot on trust; amongst us the partners and between you and me. I was willing to trust this huge money in your care, because I had no other choice than that. Maybe, the mistake was in not having a face-to-face meeting before all these began. We then would have worked out the entire modalities before commencing. I had however, thought that all these will be taken care of when we meet, since their was very little time between when I got your contact and the actual commencement itself.

This was more so because my term of reference in account department will soon be over, there was the urgent need to get concluded the matter before leaving office. Now, we are at the crossroad, and I mentioned from the very beginning there could be no going back for us. The officialisation of this project has begun and has to be concluded. I said it before it is very difficult for someone to take the risk of investing into something he does not have direct control over, but I tell you my position yesterday is still my position today. We have to work this together to the end. We can only be like the French legionnaires who if one falters the others push him on, if he stumbles, he’s picked up and if he retreats, he is shot. So are you faltering now or what. What are the contingencies opened to us, now that your loyalty and faith is to other matters.

To laugh is to appear the fool. To weep is to risk appearing sentimental. To reach out for another is to risk involvement. To expose feelings is to risk exposing our true self.

To place your ideas and dreams, before the crowd is to risk loss. To love is to risk not being loved in return. To live is to risk dying. To hope is to risk despair. To try at all is to risk failure. But risk we must, because the greatest hazard in life is to risk nothing’s hero is no braver than anyone else;

We are almost at the end of the road in concluding this transaction. Let’s not throw away all we have worked for.

This project will make us all happy when finally concluded, this I promise you. Let’s work together as a team to see it through so we can both enjoy very much our various share of the funds and final investment plan.

I must let you know that this transaction is all about mutual benefit and understanding, so you should have nothing to worry about. This transaction will make us all happy when finally concluded. I think I will have to let you know now that I will be relocating to your country permanently along with my lovely family. I will be starting a new and very fulfilled business life in your country. So therefore my family and yours will become one and fulfilled family. We need to have this transaction concluded before the next 72 hours or thereabout, so that I will immediately begin to make arrangement for my travelling documents and that of my family.I want a situation whereby I (M%@#g Ya@#$g), my lovely wife and children will celebrate the New Year Holidays in your country.

Get back to the Me@#ro Bank and have the Offshore Online Account opened in your name, and immediately send me Account Details so I can begin the final transfer of the funds to the new account.

I await account details from you very soonest.

MAY GOD BLESS YOU.

Regards,

I think boasting about the guy's ability can be done in one thread. No need to confuse our frail minds with posting the same twice Wink

I'm sure one of the mods will be here shortly to resolve this... and save our minds from further deteriorating...

EDIT: Wouldn't you know it... they removed the other thread... who has my medications??

It was a mistake on my part. I didn't mean to post it two times. I'll go to the pitts and have my privates twisted and yanked so I'll be reminded to never do it again. I thought maybe I hadn"t sent it the first time.
Am I forgiven?

I always though that Daleks were tough, poor on staircases admittedly, but please be careful twisting and yanking your privates so much.

That said we are mostly all forgiving souls here and make the odd mistake or two, sometimes daily.

note to self - stay away from the pits.

Wink
