Full system scan online?

For my old PC, now dearly departed to the attic, I had a full system scan printout, via a website reccomended on Eater, showing the full configuration of my desktop PC, including what version of XP and service packs / updates were installed, memory, capacities etc etc.

When this one screws up again, and someone asks me what specs it is, I could do with doing a printout now. Sorry OD, when you asked I wasn't ignoring you, I just have nothing written down - it's just a 'generic PC' When it's up and running I know a bit more, but not how much memory, what sort , what CPU etc etc...

Search and Google haven't helped any, does anyone know which scan I am talking about, or recommend a trusted one that wont bugger me around and make me register for stuff?

Roy - You might try Belarc Advisor. Provides all the data, and it's free.

Although I have avast! on my PC, I occasionally pop over and use Kaspersky to check that everything has been picked up.

I use SysMetrix. It's free and looks cool sitting on my desktop.

Cheers, Belarc was the one I used before, Av is sorted with avast, which I have used a long while, after getting the thumbs up from eater members.

Off to do a Belarc scan now...

Edit: All printed out, next time OD asks me what I'm running, I have an answer! Smile
